These terms apply when you download or use Linen (the “App”). By using the App you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
1. Who provides Linen
Linen is provided by the developer identified on the App Store listing (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at the support address shown on that listing.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms. You may not copy, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or resell the App except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
3. Subscriptions and payment
Linen is a paid app offered as an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly. Specifically:
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the then-current price.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
- Prices may vary by region and may change. Where a price increase applies to your renewal, Apple will notify you and, where required, ask for your consent.
4. Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by us. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Where your local consumer law gives you additional rights, those rights are not affected by these terms.
5. What Linen is — and isn’t
Linen is a wellbeing and organisation tool, not a medical device. It doesn’t diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. If something in your life needs clinical or professional help, please seek it.
Linen suggests a sequence of ordinary household and self-care activities. You are responsible for doing them safely, including anything involving appliances, cleaning products, or physical exertion.
6. Your content
Anything you record in the App — your chosen rituals, streaks, notes and history — belongs to you. It is stored on your device. We do not claim any rights over it.
7. Notifications
Linen can send notifications, including reminders on your reset day and alerts when a background timer finishes. These are optional and you can turn them off at any time in iOS Settings.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the App working well, but we don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the App entirely, we will not charge you for a renewal after that point.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a material change we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, tell you in the App. Continuing to use Linen after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the developer’s country of residence, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
13. Contact
